Employability Edge Workshops

Increase your potential for inclusive & sustainable employment.

Are you looking to start or get back to work? Concerned about disability inclusion and accessibility in the recruitment process or the workplace?

Join our Employability Edge interactive workshop designed by and for people with disability, led by our approachable lived experience facilitators, and be empowered to apply for, gain and maintain meaningful employment.

Explore how you are formidable and can be an asset to the workforce!

Expand your understanding of your transferable skills, knowledge of the disability employment space, and tools to enhance your confidence, job hunting and successful employment.

Learn how to maintain your meaningful employment through better knowledge and understanding of your rights and responsibilities, the laws around inclusive employment and where to go for information and support.

The self-belief and proactive job-hunting elements of the session will provide you with greater confidence to apply for jobs and request reasonable adjustments whilst maintaining a growth mindset in the process.

Participant quotes:

“ Hearing from peers and being part of a group discussing shared difficulties is very empowering. The workshop helped me understand negotiating my needs with employers and how to better advocate for myself.”

Alex, Orange

“ The most useful and productive seminar I have attended. I have saved the resources to revisit now and then.”

Claire, Ryde

We are proudly delivering these workshops for the Peer Support and Capacity Building (PSCB) grant for the NDIS. We are grateful to the NSW Department of Communities and Justice for providing the initial funding for the Employability Edge workshops.
