16 April 2008	Top Marks for Toolkit
	The Physical Disability Council of NSW (PDCN) congratulates the New South Wales Attorney General's Department on the release of the Capacity Toolkit. The rights of the individual can easily be undermined, especially the rights of people with physical disabilities. This publication reinforces the rights of people who may appear different or communicate differently, but who are capable of making decisions for themselves. PDCN believes the Capacity Toolkit is a well written resource, undertaken with in a serious effort to consult widely and provide a clear concise reference tool for professionals to use when a decision regarding capacity needs to be made. PDCN endorses this practical tool as another step toward ensuring that the rights of all individuals, including those with disabilities, are protected.   ###
