Supporting the Work of PDCN

Financial grants

These are sought to:

  • Support the work of the organisation (eg a grant for the Department of Ageing Disability and Homecare)
  • Enable particular projects or research to be conducted

In- kind support

From time to time individuals/organisations offer their skills (without payment) to work on a particular project or initiative (eg Luke Morris who is a graphic artist designed the new PDCN logo, and the Annual Reports for 2008-2009 and 2009-2010).  Particular skills being sought are:

  • Membership marketing
  • E-learning

Membershipmembership_form

Applications for membership need to be submitted on the application form. Each application is considered by the Committee of Management.  The decision of the Committee of Management is provided to the applicant.

  • Individual

Individual membership of PDCN is available to any person who wishes to join.  The Individual membership fee is payable at the end of the financial year. As a member you will have considerable opportunities to inform the work of PDCN.  For example, via strategic planning and consultations on particular issues.

  • Organisational

Organisational membership is available with a membership fee of $55 per annum.  Organisational members will also have the opportunity to inform the work of PDCN.  For example, by attending the Organisational Forum held twice each year.

 

Committee of Management

Positions on the Committee of Management are gained via election.  Amendments to the PDCN Constitution were passed at a General Meeting on the 20 October 2010.  When their lodgement with the Department of Fair Trading is completed, details of election process will be placed on this website.
