These are sought to:

• Support the work of the organisation

  (eg a grant from the Ageing Disability and Homecare, NSW Department of Human Services).   PDCN has received a grant from this department for the financial year 2010 -2011

• Enable particular projects or research to be conducted.

        In this financial year (2011-2012) PDCN has received grants including;

 NRMA

to conduct six Workshops: Emergency readiness and response for people with a physical disability. These are being held in Charlestown, Tamworth, Penrith, Bathurst, Dubbo, and Erina

St George Foundation  

to conduct Mentors Matter: young adults with physical disability mentoring high school students with  physical disability.  The mentoring project will be conducted in the firs half of 2012

City of Sydney

to provide  copies of the PDCN publication Words Matter: Language Guide to all of the high schools and public libraries with the City of Sydney Local Gocvernment area
