Every Australian Counts: DisabiliTea Tuesday 2 August
We want to bring campaigners together to plan how we are going to spread the word about the need for the NDIS and how we are going to convince our MPs to introduce it.
So we're asking you to hold a tea on Tuesday 2 August.
Anyone can hold a tea at home with friends, family, neighbours and colleagues. Organisations big and small can hold a tea and invite clients, staff, supporters and local community members.
You could even invite your MP along to hear first hand how the NDIS could improve the lives of people with a disability, their families and carers in this country.
Sign up to receive a kit to get you started. We've got invitations and posters to let everyone know about your tea.
We'll also give you some activiTea’s to do during your tea, to help us reach our target of 100,000 supporters.
The delivery of the final Productivity Commission report on 31 July signifies a watershed moment in the campaign.
We've got until the end of the year to convince the Government to implement their recommendations and introduce the NDIS.
