Dear Sir.
I write to you as
Vice-President of the Physical Disability Council
of N.S.W, which is a member of the Action For The
McRae Coalition.
Despite the coalition’s
best attempts, we are frustrated and angered by the
department’s slowness in implementing the
recommendation of the McRae Report.
Indeed, despite numerous
private reassurances, we have not seen any public
announcements which will improve the Integration
programme in 1998.
I therefore request an urgent
meeting between members of the coalition and
yourself so that we can be very clear on the
department's position and move this tedious process
for the good of the students involved.
I look forward to your
earliest advice as to when such a meeting can take
place.
