1. Can your organisation help me with my
physical disability-related problem?
Not directly.
The PDCN is not an organisation to assist
individual people with their individual
problems. We are a peak body representing the
interests of people with a physical
disability. Part of our role is to educate
and inform people with a physical disability
providing them with the information they need to
solve their own issues.
As a peak body, we represent your interests
to policy makers and stakeholders to enable you
to achieve and maintain full participation,
equality of opportunity and equality of
citizenship.
Individual and/or Personal Disablity Advocacy
assistance can be found at other organisations.
Have
a look at our Online Services Guide to find
contact details to organisations that might be
able to help you.
2. What does systemic advocacy mean?
Systemic advocacy - means that we
educate and inform all stakeholders (including
other people with physical disability across
NSW) about the needs of people with physical
disabilities so they are able to achieve and
maintain full participation, equality of
opportunity and equality of citizenship.
3. What issues do you focus on?
The issues and concerns that PDCN

Lodgement Centres.
|
PADP is currently undergoing some
extensive modification to the
programme. These will result in the

PDCN does not provide any equipment at all and
we have nothing to do with PADP.
